Sara Ali Khan, an actress, shared a video on Instagram on Saturday of her trip to the Baba Barfani temple in Amarnath. He can be seen visiting the Amarnath temple wearing a blue tracksuit and a white hat. She may also be seen posing with a trident and ringing the temple bell at the entryway while covering her head with a scarf.
Jai baba barfani and emojis of folded hands, a mountain, and a trishul were Sara’s captions for her reel. He was seen in the reel moving in the direction of the valley’s Amarnath temple. On camera, she can be heard saying, “Thank you, Darshon. Our pilgrimage to Amarnath has just begun. There are many pilgrims here for darshan. That is Amarnath’s cave. So let’s also take our journey. Many thanks, Ji. (Hi, viewers. Our pilgrimage to Amarnath has begun. There are a lot of followers here. This is the Amarnath cave. Now let’s begin our Yatra as well. He then proclaimed “Har Har Mahadev.”
The soundtrack includes the song “Namo Namo” by Amit Trivedi from Sara’s debut movie Kedarnath. In the 2018 romantic drama by Abhishek Kapoor, the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput portrayed a Muslim pithu (drunkard) who guides the Hindu devotee to the temple in the pilgrimage state of Kedarnath.
While many praised Sara’s atheism, others noted that it was a PR gimmick. Sara’s clip was shared on Twitter by a person who wrote: “Baba Barfani Amarnath ji was visited by Sara Ali Khan. He gave the so-called secular Abduls one more reason to despise him. His Instagram is now flooded with disparaging remarks and abuse. Secularism is still alive.”
“Movie promotion ke liye kar rahi hai,” another remarked. “Koi movie ni arhi uski,” the user answered, “(She is doing this to advertise her film). There is also no crew. She travels to see each Jyotirlinga. She attends and worships every Jyotirlinga whether or not a movie is on the way.”
Someone else tweeted, “She is an expert in the market, and an Instagram user who saw her reel wrote, “She is my interfaith daughter and I appreciate that she respects both equally and is not biassed, she is blessed,” in response to the comment. Maintaining a mental balance between two religions is difficult. In Islam, we do indeed have a monotheistic faith in Allah. Yet, the most important thing is that she is committed to her faith, despite how strange it may seem.”
