The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka, Kajol’s first web series, is being well-received by viewers. The series, which is available to watch on Disney+Hotstar, follows Noyonika, who is portrayed by the stunning Kajol, as she sets out on a journey when her husband betrays her.
It’s empowering for me to be able to reflect the strength of a woman and be recognised for expressing it, Kajol says in an interview about the success of The Trial: Love, Law, Cheating.
The audience as a whole has given Kajol kudos for portraying a weak lady who takes control of her life. Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, Eli Khan, Kubbra Sait, and Gaurav Pandey, members of the show’s famous lead cast, have lifted the standard with their outstanding performances in this compelling journey through Noyonika’s life.
