Amit Sadh won hearts as Aditya Bhargava on the TV show Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar almost 20 years ago. Since then, he’s been in a lot of serious web series, like “Stubborn to Win,” “Obstruction,” and “Breathe.” In his next movie, Important, The actor plays a “encounter specialist” in the movie. The first part of the movie was shot in Bhopal, and the second part is currently being shot.
“As an actor and performer, I’ve shown that I can do different things. I’ve shown I can play as a hockey player, in the special forces, in the army, and as a husband to Shakuntala Devi. I think it’s a good thing that I’ve had a lot of different roles. Sadh says, “I have worked hard and shown that I have what it takes. I just keep switching roles to bring a sense of reality.” And the people who watch me work hard really appreciate it.
But do you stay away from rom-coms and romantic roles on purpose? Sadh says, “Not really,” and adds that he hasn’t turned down such roles.
“I’m not a baby, but there aren’t that many movies I can watch. I remember when I did Sleep And I was Raghubir Pratap Singh, which was a very appealing part. I did a great job, and the crowd loved it. I remember that my director, Reema Kagti, asked me, “Why don’t they give you roles like this?” I said, “I can’t really say anything bad.” I’ve only been working in this field for 20 years, so I still have 40–50 years to go. So I’ll get more roles, but that doesn’t mean I won’t get any roles like that,” says the actor.
Sadh said that he likes to try new things and take on new roles. He says, “All you can do is choose from what you have. I also think we can make anything we want to. In the movie, I play a romantic part. Happy Along with Shilpa, which is also coming out soon, with actor Shetty Kundra. I’m playing a funny role, and I’m sure my fans aren’t upset about that. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but as an actor, I want to be flexible, take on challenges, and play a variety of roles. With my fingers crossed, I think everything will go well.
The actor said that he doesn’t have a preference because he wants to play a wide range of roles. “I play roles. I want to work, make movies, and have fun with my fans. I want to do everything. I want to play a role. “I want to date, I want to jump out of planes, and I’m a sociopath.” I want to make people happy, that’s how I feel. All I want to do is get better and work with great people. “That’s all I want,” Sadh said in the end.
