Early estimates indicate that Oppenheimer has made about Rs 13.5 crore at the box office across all languages, according to a report by industry tracker Sqnilk. Barbie, a comedy-drama from director Greta Gerwig, was made available on the same day. As of now, Nolan’s Oppenheimer has won the rivalry between the two films. Barbie, a film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, has reportedly made Rs 5 crore in Indian theatres, according to Sacknilk’s first calculations. In fact, Oppenheimer outperformed Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, which brought in Rs 12.5 crore on its opening day. The Opppenheimer Plot
World War II serves as the setting for Oppenheimer. During World War Two, the scientist was in charge of developing nuclear weapons. The story takes place during a historical period when he realised that testing an atomic bomb would result in turmoil and irreparable harm to the entire planet, ultimately destroying it. Despite this knowledge, he carried ahead with the plan. Oppenheimer was responsible for the 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan as well as the first atomic bomb test in New Mexico.
