He tweeted the following: “The quotes in my book “Rekha The Secret Story” that refer to a “live-in relationship” are entirely false, a fabrication, and a misrepresentation that is unmistakably meant to incite controversy. I adamantly contend that none of the quotations cited in the news stories can be located in my book.”
He said that the book never uses the words “live-in relationship,” “hermetic existence,” or “biography stating the relationship was sexual.” From him, too: “New occurrences of these misquotes, which are the result of poor clickbait journalism, appear every few years. If these comments that are erroneously ascribed to me or my book “Rekha The Untold Story” are not taken down straight away, we won’t hesitate to bring a lawsuit against the outlets in question.”
He also posted the claim on the microblogging site, “It’s abhorrent how little fact-checking clickbait journalism does. They often go after ladies. a statement.”
