As the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the movie an A certificate and requested 21 cuts from the filmmakers, including the elimination of some dialogue, the film’s disclaimer, and its title, the cinematography was handled by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Pictures. filed an appeal with the Bombay High Court in accordance with Section 5C of the Act, claiming that the cuts were not protected by the Cinematograph Act and that they breached Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution.
The RSVP team argued and submitted the remaining deductions before the Hon’ble Judge during yesterday’s hearing, according to the most recent report.
